Gigabit fiber is always fast (up and down) and low-latency — never the evening slowdowns I used to get with cable. It has very good uptime - has gone down well under once per year. Price is good, and they don't try to upsell you or sell your information to advertisers. What is not to like?

Sonic Fiber gives me very consistent 8Gbps up and down! At $50/month, no contract I fell like I won the internet.

For the price of $40 a month you can get gigabit internet,(like actually 1000 mbits up and down, round the clock). This makes Xfinitys 60 dollars 200 mbit plan just look silly. The installation team is incredibly friendly and understanding, and they will set you up for whatever you need. They have a phone service, but they won't try to upsell you on it, and its super easy to take it off if you don't want it.

2.5 years with Sonic, no outages, never saw speeds below 600 Mbps, (usually 700 -800). Exceptional customer service (only had to speak with them when starting and ending my service). Really wish I could keep Sonic but I moved out of their service area. Dreading going back to one of the big guys.

Internet is fine when it actually works, which isn't often. Cannot support more than 2 devices, cuts out when we use the microwave, and only works about 65% of the time. I'm paying $60 a month only to have my phone on data nearly half the time. Will be switching as soon as I decide on a better option.
